... that all new ALTIA CENTRAL ALTs must complete our Orientation Training (OT) and Follow-up Training (FUT) programs?
Most likely you did! You also probably knew that (barring very special cases) you will only need to do an OT and a FUT one time.
Something you may not have known is that because we have numerous different starting dates for our 250+ ALTs it is necessary to conduct OT on multiple occasions. Here is a rundown on OT and FUT events to date.
OT1: This was March 27th-30th at the Kanayama Plaza hotel and convention building. Those of you who participated in this OT1 event will also be coming to FUT1 on Saturday, May 12th.
OT2: This event takes place April 24th-26th at the ALTIA CENTRAL main office, 7th floor. New ALTs that take part in OT2 will be coming to FUT2 taking place on Saturday, June 9th.
OT3: This event is scheduled for May 8th-10th and will also take place at the ALTIA CENTRAL main office on the 7th floor. Those in attendance for OT3 will be coming to FUT2 on June 9th.
*Changing OT and FUT dates is not an option due to attendance and venue limitations.

Hello,
There has been a great deal of confusion regarding OT2. This message is to clear up that confusion.
1. OT2 is for ALTs that have not attended Orientation Training. These are our newest ALTs that did not attend OT1 (April 27-30).
2. The next training event for ALTs that did attend OT1 (April 27-30) will be our Follow-up Training event scheduled for May 12th. More information regarding this event is coming soon.
My sincere apologies for creating this confusion. Guess I'll need to review my 5 Foundations, particularly the "clarity" parts!

The dates are now set for OT2! They will be April 24th, 25th & 26th.
The training event will be taking place at the ALTIA CENTRAL office located in the Simon building. Actually, we'll be on the 7th floor (main office is on the 9th floor).
We will be starting off from 9:30AM on the 24th so please plan to arrive to the 7th floor at 9:20AM to start the day.

Greetings All,
We've had a few questions about the dress code for OT. Two things I will say in general: 1) it is the same for OT as it is for working as an ALT; 2) the 27th will be the first day to meet many members of your new company.
For more specifics, here's a few guidelines:
1) A suit is not mandatory.
2) Jeans are not allowed.
3) Tattoos, body piercings (other than relatively conservative earrings) are not allowed... to be seen. Tattoos have a negative connotation in Japan... still, and can not be revealed incidentally, purposefully, or accidentally.
4) Read the Employee Guidelines for more details.
